Our Mission
The mission of the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office is to be a committed, transparent, and accountable law enforcement agency who fosters unity and collaboration among citizens and law enforcement through community engagement. As leaders of our community, we are dedicated to safeguarding all lives and property within Vermilion Parish, preserving order by pursuing violators of the law and promoting justice, to reduce crime and improve quality of life for our citizens.
